Jack is our grumpy old man, a wise 10-year-old husky who was rescued from the harsh deserts of the Inland Empire. With a heart of gold hidden beneath that gruff exterior, he’s a simple guy who thrives on the essentials: long walks, his favorite human Bryan, and, of course, cheese. Jack is known to let out a theatrical scream just for fun, making sure everyone knows he’s in the room (or the entire neighborhood). Despite his cantankerous demeanor, he’s a loyal companion who brings a touch of humor and sass to our lives.

Meet Percy

Enter Percy, the bubbly 3-year-old golden doodle from Pennsylvania who’s never met a stranger or a snack he didn’t like. This friendly ball of fluff radiates joy, loving everyone and everything—including his cherished orange Chuckit balls. Percy spends two days a week working at Amazon, providing emotional support to overworked employees, proving that even a dog can have a career! His boundless enthusiasm and unwavering optimism make him the sunshine in our household.

Their Unlikely Friendship

Together, Jack and Percy form a dynamic duo that echoes the hilarity of a certain movie featuring stepbrothers. Picture this: Jack, with his grumpy swagger, and Percy, ever the optimist, tearing around the beach, barking at the waves and chasing each other with squeaky squirrel toys. They’ve created a bond that defies their differences, proving that friendship knows no bounds. As the first grand-dogs in the family, they are treated like royalty, with Nana affectionately calling Percy “Baby.” Their vacation home in Temecula is a paradise filled with treats and love, where they bask in the attention of their Moore Grandparents. These two furry friends add so much light to our lives, reminding us daily that love comes in all shapes, sizes, and species!
